Grigorii Yakovlevich Lozanovsky has made significant contributions to the theory of Banach lattices and to interpolation theory and has also authored a number of excellent papers in other areas of mathematics. Since 1962 till the end of his life he was a lecturer at the Mozhaisky Military Engineering-Cosmic Academy -- one of the most renowned cosmic universities in the former Soviet Union.
