 On bases and approximation conditions in banach spaces

[Abstract]
 We consider the notion of bases in Banach spaces and
 closely related the so called approximation and bounded
 approximation properties for these spaces.
 This paper is supposed to be a small general survey
 of some results obtained by the author and some other
 mathematicians mostly in the last 20 years.
