[Abstract]
 A sequence of discrete periodic splines with period $mn$ interpolating $m$ 
 fixed points is considered. It is proven that set of discrete splines' values 
 converges to a polynomial spline when $n$ tends to infinity. An extremal 
 property of the limit spline is established.
