[Abstract]
 We consider quasi-normed tensor products lying between Laprest\'e tensor
 products and spaces of $(r,p,q)$-nuclear operators. We define and investigate
 the corresponding approximation properties for Banach spaces.
 An intermediate aim is to answer a question of Sten Kaijser.
