[Abstract]
 We consider a compact pseudodifferential operator. The smoothness of the symbol
 fails on the prescribed set of $x$. We obtain the validity conditions of the
 Weyl's asymptotics of the $s$-numbers. The results are applied to the symbols
 with decay order as $|\xi| \to \infty$ being a nonsmooth function of $x$.
